Essential Question #1: What issues prompted the 12th amendment?

There was one Major issues that prompted the 12th amendments creation. One major problem that occurred was a tie in the election. Aaron Burr and Thomas Jefferson both received 73 votes. The country was puzzled on what to do and how to prevent this problem form occurring in the future. There idea was the 12th amendment. It will state all the laws and rule so that a tie will never happen again in the future. It proved to be a successful solution and that title still stands strong today.(TM)

The 12th amendment had a big impact on society. It was a big step for the US. It finally got everyone who was qualified to vote. It wasn't just the people in government anymore. Also, it gave us a president to lead our nation. It gave us someone to look up to when we need someone.
