Answer 1- What prompted the creation of amendment number one is citizens demanded a guarantee of basic freedom rights.
Answer 2- Amendment one gave them the freedom of religion, speech, assembly, and press. It impacted the society because it let the constitution pass because it gave citizens a guarantee of basic freedom rights.

In today's government we have the freedom of speech, assembly, religion, and press. In today's world we are allowed to speak our mind and protest about something without getting in trouble. Today's government allows us to freedom of religion . This means that we are allowed to worship and believe in a religion with being judged by it. Today's government protects our basic citizen rights because of the first amendment.

Pure speech is the expression of one's opinions and thoughts. This means that one cannot get in trouble if they speak their opinion or thoughts. Speech plus involves the freedom of actions and protesting for what one thinks is right.
