1. What issues prompted the creation of your amendment? The disaster of the 18th amendment prompted the creation of the 21st amenment.[MH]
2. What impact did your amendment have on society at that time? It brought order to society some rules and people became more careful about what they did for example people were more catious about drinking.[MH]

DEFINITION
The 21st Amendment was a direct response to the preexisting 18th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, which mandated the sale, possession, consumption, and transport of alcoholic beverages as illegal. The 21st Amendment repealed the 18th amendment. This meant that is was no longer illegal to buy, sell or drink alcoholic beverages.[NM]

Answer: Yes, the 21st amendment did effect people's health. Before the 21st amendment was passed people would drink illegal alcohol that was made in illegal factories. This alcohol was sometimes not made right and people got sick from it and died. When the 21st amendment was passed the production of alcohol was regulated so people didn't get sick from it.[NM]
