Essential Question 1:What Issues Prompted The Creation Of The Fourth Amendment?
There were various issues that sparked the 4th amendment. One issue was that when America was still colonized, the British would come into someone's house without a warrant. They would also invade people's privacy and personal belongings.
Essential Question 2:What Impact did the Fourth Amendment Have on society when it was created 1791?
The Fourth Amendment had a positive and big impact in society during 1791. One reason is that it made the new nation, United States, have more privacy for citizens. Also it made the whole country more fair with society against the government.

The Fourth Amendment means that someone cant come into you're house even if its a police officer. Only a judge approved warrant can.


Q 1: Does the fourth amendment count if you're house house is robbed and the police need to search for evidence?
A 1: The Fourth amendment dos cunt if someone robs your house and the police need to search. the police have the right to come and search your house, but the police officers have to do it lawfully with a warrant.

Q 2: Did the fourth amendment change overtime?
A 2: No, the fourth amendment has not changed over time. The fourth amendment has stayed the same through time with the same rules. The police still need a warrant for searches and to check if you are doing something illegal behind the government's back.

Q 3: Does the fourth amendment count if neighbors come to you're property?
A 3: No. Other privacy laws enacted by congress and state legislatures put places on some limits on what private corporations and individuals can do. The fourth amendment only applies to government searches and seizures.

Q 4. What do you do if the police officer doesn't have a warrant?
A 4. If a police officer doesn't have a warrant and they want to come in and search you don't have to let them in. By law if a police officer doesn't have a warrant then you don't have to let them in. Even if the police officer is ringing the door bell and demanding to get in you just don't have to let him/her in to your house.

Q 5: Can students be searched by a police officer?
A 5: Yes, a student can be searched by a police officer. The student can be searched even without a warrant because if they are doing something bad they need to be searched immediately. They can be searched because if they are doing something really bad or there putting other people in danger then they need to be stopped and looked at and see what they are doing.

Q 6: When was the Fourth Amendment Written?
A 6: The Fourth Amendment was written and enforced on December 5, 1791. It was one of the first original 10 amendments. Also it was the Foundation of laws about personal space and privacy.

Q 7: Can Students be searched by their teachers?
A 7: Yes, teachers can search a student belongings. For example,a teacher could look in their locker if they think there is some suspicious activity in it. Also they are allowed to look at a student's work and search history on a computer.( Only if the school Owns the computer they can look at the history.)

Q 8: Does the Fourth Amendment protect privacy in a worker's office?
A 8: No. The Fourth Amendment does not protect a worker's office. Just like a teacher, employers can look at search history, Phone calls,E-mails and even voice mails.

Q9: In the future will the fourth amendment stay the same?
A9: We don't really know if it will say the same but we predict it will. We think it will stay the same because because it has been the same for over 200 years. We don't think it will change because it is a very fair law because if the police doesn't have a warrant they can't search and but if they do they can search because someone can be doing something really wrong.


Q10: Can you let a police officer in without a warrant if you let them in?
A10: Yes, you can let a police officer come even if he/she doesn't have a warrant. People have their own rights and if they want to be searched by a police officer then they can be. If the police officer just comes to your door and asks to come in you can let them in if you want them to.



Q 11: Can a policet Just come to your house to search it?
A 11:No. A warrant must have a good reason for searching your house. There has to be some kind of conflict involved so that they could find some evidence. and they must have a warrant because if they don't then they need to get one and they are allowed in to your house.

Q 12: What will happen if a police officer doesn't follow the rules and goes in your house without a warrant?
A 12: You have to be calm and you can ask questions about why they came and you are allowed to ask questions by law. You can also call your lower immeditaly if you have any questions or to sue the cop or do something to the cop for breaking it your house.If you think that the cop is doing something bad you can call the other cops and they can do something about it because the cop had no right to come in without a warrant on him a proved by the judge.

Q 13: What is a probable cause?
A:13 A probable cause is that the police has a good reason why you were arrested. So if the police saw something weird that was going on and they believe that you are behind it they can go they need evidence to prove them to be doing that. Once the police officer gets a warrant then they can come and search your house and see that you were doing something illegal.
