2. Q. How is this different from article II? A. The amendment is different from the article. They had to change this because in 1800 Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr tied in the election. So we did not know who was to be the president or the vice president. Therefore they changed it so the president and the vice president run at the same time but not against each other.
3. Q. Who is elligable to run for president and vice president? A. They must be a natrual boen citizen of the United States, that they be no less than thirty-five years old, and that they have been a resident of the United States for at least 14 years.
