What the amendment says in your own words: MP: it means that you need a warrant to search a part of someones house. MD: it means that you are being a thief.
Answer the following Questions:
1.When was the amendment created?
The amendment was created on September 25, 1789, written by James Madison.
2.What would happen if the amendment did not exist?
If the amendment did not exist, we would be able to step into people's homes without having an authority. With this amendment, people's privacies will also be invaded. We would need a court order in order to step into people's homes.
3.How would that change our country?
It would change our country by people acting much different than today. Certain limitations like privacies would be affected. Government officials would be allowed to enter your house at any time just because they wanted to come into your home.
4.How does the amendment affect you?
It would be bad because cops can search anything of yours when they want. and they can just take stuff from you and search it. For example they can search your car, your home, and if your walking some where they can search you if they want. For no reason, they can stop you on the road and search you and your car if they want. Also, they can unexpectedly come into your house and start searching the entire house.
