My article is called Hillary Clinton Bucks the Spirit of the 22nd Amendment
This article is about Hillary Clinton going against 22nd amendment when Bill Clinton was president. Instead of Bill running again, she wanted to run though. Hillary wouldn't be running for president if she wasn't Bills wife. She is just helping Bill by doing this, not herself. Hillary wouldn't specifically be breaking the 22nd amendment by doing this, but she really is. Even though it isn't the same person running, she helped Bill Clinton run the country, so it is against the 22nd amendment. So, if Hillary did get away with this, and got elected, the country would be ran the same way. In conclusion, Hillary Clinton tried to find a way to go against the 22nd amendment, but it didn't work. My article is called Bush's Third Term
This article is about president Bush going against the 22nd amendment because his dad was president for a term and Bush is about to finish his second term. Some people protest this because George H.W Bush is in Bush's immediate family and it is like the Clinton's problem that Hillary cannot run because Bill Clinton has already ran and it will be like Bill is running. The reason Bush wasn't kicked out of office during his second term because he did not help his dad run, unlike Bill and Hillary. Bush will be out of office very soon so this problem won't be very affective. Bush really didn't go against the 22nd amendment unlike people thought but this was a problem for a while.
Current event by, Sara My article is called "A Third Term for Bush" This article is about President Bush trying to revitalize his second term by filling his presidential cabinet with new appointments in new positions. News media would need to cover new appointees instead of focusing on his many troubles during his presidential terms such as Katrina and the iraq war. It would appear as though Bush is starting a new term but in reality he is not going against the 22nd amendment because he is not really starting a new term he is just appointing new people,as any president would do when they are first elected. President Bush will also try to keep his beliefs alive by appointing 2 supreme court judges that will be holding office after his presidential term is complete.
