2.Where did the idea come from?
A: The idea came form the british.They encouraged the colonists not to own weapons, but also to own weapons for protection from Native Americans, French forces and slave revolts. The bristish did not want the colonists to fight back against them.
3.Why was it created?
A: the Founding Fathers created the second amendment to protect individual rights to own a gun and limit the governments power.
4.What was going on in the world when this amendment was created?
A: War broke out. The American Revolution had just ended.
5. Why do people feel that they need guns?
A:People feel they need guns for protection just in case of emergencies like if someone breaks in to your home or store. Also, people feell that they have the right to protect themselves and their possesions.
6. Why do people feel that other people shouldn't own guns?
A: People feel that others shouldn't own guns because if weapons get into the wrong hands then it's a hazardous situation and someone could get hurt.

A: Each state would have a state militia because since the war just ended when this amendment was made, people wanted to be protected in case of emergencies. The sales of guns rose the weekend before Election Day. Also, Obama is just like Clinton because they are both good gun salesmen. The N.R.A. sent out copies of The Pittsburgh Post Gazette that said “Vote Freedom First” and “Defend Freedom-Defeat Obama” which means that gun owners should vote for John McCain. The Republican side basically is not against the second amendment. The Democratic side wants to limit gun control. The Democrats sent out fliers to fight against the N.R.A. which said that Obama will protect gun rights. People think that Obama will be good be he’s going to fix economic problems and gun right aren’t as important. Families would rather be able to feed their families than protect the second amendment. 6-yearold boy brings loaded gun to school in his pants
In Victorville,Calif. a 6 year old boy brought a loaded gun to school. The gun was discovered at recess because the boy was told to go to the campus office do to his sagging pants. The gun that was found was a .45 caliber handgun that fell down the little first graders pants leg. A sheirff named San Bernardino and a spokeswoman Karen Hunt found out that the boy took the gun from his father's car. The police or investigators say that this weapon was taken during a robbery in November. The father is now arrested and the boy is in the custody of his mother. This boy is now expelled under the school's zero-tolerance weapons policy. This current event relates to the seconded amendment because the amendment states that we have the right to bear arms for protection . I think that this event could have been avoided because if the boy didnt find the gun and also if the father Michael Lewis didn't steal it during a robbery in November. I believe that we should limit gun control because of the second anmendment people think that they have the right to have a gun and also because people are killing others, and putting others in danger.
